they’ll think you’re Muslim. not that that’s a bad thing, but it’s just a quirky thing I learned at the (other) pizzeria I worked at. Sometimes we’d get a ticket on the line with “DO NOT CUT” on it. “Why?” we’d ask the phone girl. “They didn’t say,” she’d say. we’d try to come up with scenarios as to why this was (we never imagined it was math problems, either.) we were mulling it over one day and a muslim guy that worked with us explained that this is a thing in the muslim community–they don’t want any pork grease from previous pizza slices getting on their pie from the cutter.

Anyway, that post triggered the memory. The more you know…
