Something about this strikes me as excellent androgynous fashion and I want a pair, except I won’t spend $160 on a pair of boots and I am not that fashionable anyway.

I actually had a black pair when I was in high school back in the 80’s. Can’t remember how much I paid.

I spent about that on my current footwear. Good shoes that you wear every day and are comfy are worth the price. Those would probably last longer than what I got as well.

The price of combat boots have gone up from the 80s for sure. I want to say back in the early 90s, I was able to get a pair for under $50 or so, and now the ones I like are $120 or so. Worth the price. The pair I have now that I got in 2000 are still great.
