It’s a “Miss” size 14. In other words, for girls that would have been around 14 then but nowadays would be more like around 12-13 or so. It’s at the top of the sizing chart before they get into what we would now call “Junior” sizing but back then would have just been the smallest of the adult women’s sizing.
