Having already had two pictures of silicon chips, and with the searches just bringing on even more in the 808x series, I figured it was time for some proper chips. (Fries to the USians. Though I note that this US establishment observes the correct form in this example.)
You are forgiven. But I assert my right to get chippie about it. Harry’s chippie serves the best chips, I am reliably informed.
I’m just feeling a bit down because I haven’t had fish and chips since 2019 and that’s not going to change any time soon.
I feel your deprivation. I’ve managed it once in 2020. Meantime we make do with oven chips and breaded or battered fillets from the supermarket, also heated in the oven, and tinned mushy peas. But it is just not the same. Sigh.
I could do with one of these in this weather:
Covid took down my favorite chip shop 
Trains love big numbers.
So do planes
