The whole episode is really great. Candid Courtney Love unedited is a fun interview. It does help that in the episode on Hole the host talked about how he believes she’s brilliant, so she came right in without any guards up.

The whole podcast series is worth a listen if people haven’t given it a shot already. Nirvana was saved for the final stretch of episodes, and I think it only happened so soon because he could get Courtney Love right now. No clue what the rest of the songs will be at this point.

Nirvana is dad rock right now

Maybe somebody will be excited about “grunge” again in another decade or so

Well, yeah. Obvs. And I’m a dad.

I’m the target demographic here, and I’m loving it.

This is still my favorite version.

“Live Through This” is brilliant, and was on repeat for me in the mid-90s.

Courtney Love, however, is, at best problematic, with multiple instances of casual racism and general shittiness. In '90s parlance, I’m so over her.
