I interpreted those arrows differently. Actually, I interpreted the arrows within the context of the shape of the mechanism, which leads to a conclusion that the way to open it is roughly akin to lighting a disposable lighter.
And that IS how you’re supposed to open the container.
Furthermore, the way shown here works; I see access to minty goodness. Now, storage after… Not so good.
This needs to be a GIF now.
