Forget the stupid Safety Dance. That song sucks.
Back in 2015 I posted this on the Facebook wall of a former high school classmate. We agreed to meet & catch up on times gone by.
We’re still hanging out. We plan to go out again this Friday.

Whenever I hear “Safety Dance” I think of the fun evening I had in a basement discotheque in Köln/Cologne dancing to that song in 1983.
So no, not everyone is sick of that song. You can’t know what a song evokes in other people.
Basically, don’t yuck other people’s yums.
