Not that is matters really, but I feel like Jorja Smith could’ve taken Billie Eilish’s James Bond theme from a breathing the song to actually singing the song. She’s such a talent.
At Blood Orange’s recommendation, I took to liking Empress Of for her inventive techno pop… helps lighten the mood of this band Crack Cloud I heard on the university radio station whose album Pain Olympics I listened to religiously.

I wish I didn’t think about the politics behind who gets to sing those damn songs. I mean… Jack White, Alicia Keys, Adele, Sam Smith instead of Radiohead?! Eesh.
