Before i scrolled below the fold, I thought Dan meant Blender the 3D program. Which is also a Cool Tool!

Instead of being like a regular mechanical pencil where you click the end of it and it advances the lead millimeter by millimeter out, this thing you can control immediately breaks off as you write your first word.

That’s the reason why I like this pencil–it doesn’t break easily. That and the built in sharpener.

Yeah, those thick-ass leads are the best. They are tough enough that I use these pencils for marking while woodworking. I bought an expensive “cabinetmaker’s pencil” that was mostly plastic and broke after a few weeks, and replaced that with one of these because I though the leads were perfect.
