This is deeply evocative of Garbage Island’s vision of the future over the course of my lifetime. On the one side it’s this stuff, and City pricks surrounded by glass and chrome and various shades of grey, and New Romantics, and Terry Farrell (no, not the one with the parasite); and on the other side it’s punk and 2000AD and Intercity 125 trains and ZX Spectra.
Looking back from my sunset years, what strikes me about both strands is just what an overwrought goth of a country this is.
Anyway, sad about the designer man, they were good idents
