Ever thought about getting a cheap laser?
Wow, you guys have Archer AND youâre getting more?
Many times. Though we went with a business class inkjet with a sturdier build and huuuuge ink tanks cause it was way on sale and another $50 off for bringing in the dead one. It had good reviews from Consumer Reports. So how long should this one last?
About 18 minutes before you need to use it?
Did you mean the Anchor Bar (because thatâs what itâs called)? Is it that weird that Iâve never been? Did you know another place (Duffâs) competes with them for the claim of the best wings in Buffalo (and I have been there)? And, more relevant to the current questions at the bottom of the thread, did you know that you can get extremely hot - and flavorful - chicken wings in Buffalo (Buffalo Wild Wings is actually not too dissimilar although the restaurant has no connection to the city and isnât as good)? Does my opinion matter since I rarely eat them anyway?
Did you mean âweckâ as in âbeef on weckâ, the Buffalo signature sandwich?
Isnât this me near a similar east coast lighthouse? Donât I also have a photo of myself in front of an even better looking tall ship (in Salem, MA) that I donât want to post because I look goofy? But are you really going to claim the east coast is best based solely on photos of things that you can also find on the west coast?
Maybe? The one with the caraway seeds and salt, is that what they call it?
Great though, right?
Would you believe Iâve only heard of either because I saw that episode of this programme?
Would I offend your home town if I said I wouldnât be surprised if you hadnât been to the Anchor Bar because it doesnât appear to be in the most salubrious of neighbourhoods?
You have one of those, too? Do you have a Portland as well?
Isnât one of my children going to crew a Tall Ship through part of the Third Coast (the largest freshwater system in the world: the Great Lakes) this summer?
Yes, it is good, isnât it? Isnât it another thing I rarely actually eat though?
Didnât I not know there was an episode of such a show featuring Buffalo, though arenât I not necessarily surprised considering how thoroughly those shows have plumbed the depths of regional food? But would it surprise you to learn that the neighborhood itâs in is really not that bad (compared to much of Buffalo) - and also that thereâs an Anchor Bar in the Buffalo airport?
Donât you guys have Old York?
Will I be able to spot them going through the Welland Canal? Also - as an aside - did you know I have a degree in geology (and went to grad school) and am interested in an oil/gas job and have had an incredibly hard time finding any job at all?
While they are a bit overpowering, do they not still have a unique flavor? Did it not take me several times trying them to taste it? While there does seem to be a push towards âstupid hotâ these days, is it still not worth experimenting with peppers that have unique flavors? Is it acceptable to say a pepper has a unique taste but needs to be diluted to be palatable, or do we need to grow a specific pepper for each persons palate?
So why is it that yâall are arguing over the best fantastic food Iâve never heard of, and I all I managed to do was get my parents to watch the kids for a few hours so the wife and I could slip away by ourselves for the first time in a year, and eat but a hot dog (with cherry-pepper relish and crispy onion rings) for me and a cheeseburger for her, and wander around Old Saybrook looking at houses built in the 1750s and fantasizing that we had one of our own, only with a much better garage or without all of those pine-cones all over the lawn and that broken shutter (because Iâd totally never get around to fixing it)?
What is the US palate? Are we really that homogeneous?
Why does that strike me as a wonderful evening?
I was more mid-dayish (apx 11-2:30), but are you not wrong about wonderful?
Has anyone ever experienced the sound of a gaze of racoons that raided the larder and ran off with the chocolate covered espresso beans?
âWalking around with each other, and talkingâ - itâs banal, but thatâs how we fell in love. As wonderful as those babbies are, it It was nice to be able to do it again without them.
self Donald:
Wouldnât you be hearing from them all night long, after that?
So the story goes? Have you heard one bark?
Isnât the proper proportion, so as to not kill oneâs mouth, two super-hots per 3-5 gallons of soup/chilli? And wonât I be excited to get a good crop of Scotch Bonnets this year? Who could resist the citrus flavor of this crazy pepper?
