What kind of question is that? I went in the crown the week it reopened last time at 8 in the morning.
Pay them or do the work yourselves?
Whatâs work?
Why are you just randomly paying Mexicans then?
Five pounds of garlic bahers stuffed, shaped, portioned, and packed away; eleven pounds of protobacon, curing in three different âexperimental rubsâ; a pot of Dashi 1 simmering away; and now isnât all I have to do is mixup some morter and finish the stairs?
Doesnât that assume that itâs not a choice - history repeating itself rather than people poaching from the past to connect with it or try and recreate it? Plus arenât the fashion choices not exactly the same? Werenât the bell bottoms of the 90s somewhat different from the 60s, especially in the rave scene?
Wherever do you find the time and motivation to do all this stuff?
Isnât it somewhat confusing when you and @awjt have a discussion in this thread (or any thread)?
Would you say itâs more confusing than when everyone was using the same avatar?
Werenât those confusing times for all involved? But fun?
Why would I say that?
Now is not fun?
May I apologise for inferring that these times are not also fun times? Because arenât they fun?
Hey is it peanut butter jelly time yet?
Whose 17-year-old finally admitted today that she lies when people ask her if sheâs seen âThe Blues Brothersâ because she doesnât want to admit she hasnât, so of course we had to sit down and watch it?
Why had she never watched it, when it was literally the first movie I ever bought (back in the days of VHS tapes)? Who is this child?
(She spent half of the movie saying âthis is the strangest movie ever madeâ and the other half awed by the incredible talent collected to perform in it. Now sheâs seen all the quotes in context. I swear, I thought Iâd raised her right, but clearly I missed an entire branch of her education.)
Isnât that what rubber bands are for?
Isnât awesome how none of the band can act their way out a wet paper bag in that movie but you just donât care?
