They ran out of time and money for reshooting and went with a version of the scene with dialogue different to that which was eventually used… the way their mouths moved used not to match the dialogue being heard until the Final Cut, and wasn’t that my biggest bugbear with the film?

The work they did on that scene was fantastic but it didn’t used to bug me as much… although wasn’t it obviously a fairly burly dude playing a svelte erotic dancer beforehand?
