The DoD has put out an RFP for research into training munitions with biodegradeability features and embedded seeds for bioremediation; presumably in the hopes of making our various test ranges less of a pain to clean up and/or PR problem.
This strikes me as a horrendously provocative move, likely to ruin diplomatic relations with everyone’s favorite floating stone head. Zardoz is going to be displeased when he learns that we are building guns that shoot seeds and make new life to poison the earth. Surely this will go poorly.
