He merely said they had no evidence to indicate it was happening.

He didn’t say it wasn’t happening.

Very clever and lawyerly way to subvert the Supreme Court. Also evil and manipulative, treating your Constitution like a game to be exploited and hacked. I’d love to see that back in front of the judges now.
