So, why then is Turkey allowed to remain in NATO after accepting aid from Russia? Seems counterintuitive to me. A bit off mission.

Didnt you hear? It was all Obama’s fault for refusing to transfer technology about the Patriot missile to Turkey! Poor Turkey had no choice but to buy from Russia, the poor darlings.
