Effects pedal book that’s not just for guitarists

My advice is to start with a good multi-effects pedal. Boss makes a great one for slightly more money than a boutique single use pedal. You get to try a lot of sounds and if you want to go down that road, you can add other pedals.

This would be a great place to start:

That’s a little outside my price range, but I do appreciate the suggestion. Thanks.

A second-hand Zoom 505 will probably get you the most effects for your money, if you do want to try as many sounds as you can.

Also the thing about Boss pedals is they are designed for touring. You could put them in a cannon and use them as ordinance for assaulting a walled city. If you’re messing round at home you can get something a bit more plastic like one of the umpteen line 6 pod things. Under a hundred quid for something that will do most things.

If I was the kind of person into buying and selling things I’d buy boutique pedals and sell them on.

Ridiculous market and prices.
