I remember hearing, back in my youth when Elfquest was still in its first run and I waited for each new issue to come out, that an animated version was in the works. Somehow word trickled through that Nelvana, which I was familiar with, would be the animation studio and that seemed promising. Then it all fell apart.
I’m glad to have found Richard Pini’s history of earlier attempts and also glad it’s happening now when the adaptation will have a much better chance at being faithful to the original.

Now I need to go open up the box with my first edition D&D and Dragon magazines and see if that is where I put my original Elfquest books.

I was such a big fan as a kid. I bought the big full color volumes as an adult. I hope it works out.
