It’s not Helvetica, it’s Arial, the typeface with a sloping top on just one character for no good reason, among other failings.
This has me giggling uncontrollably - haven’t seen it before!

A web page with malformed HTML is… OK I guess… but when I saw the headline I assumed it was about an instructional page with giant text so you could follow along without being sat right in front of your device. Which would be a good idea (at least if you could scroll the text with a voice command or gesture).
I had no idea about the history of the site. I checked the site in the beginning of September because I was looking for supplies and it looked totally normal then. So the change isn’t too recent.
