Just not sure what to make of that.
Maybe now is simply not a time for comedy?
Many people and organizations involved in the war/fight do seem ripe for satire, though. The Onion is often very good at that.

Before this story is closed for comments let’s just remember that it’s not true, at all, and is in fact just somebody who had no power to do what he said sent a tweet. That’s the whole “story” someone sent a tweet essentially as a private person, a randomer.
And here it stands uncorrected the whole time. There is no way that you can’t know this was false at this stage.
