OK so you have finished your coffee in a compostable cup, what do you do with it?
If you are allowing it to go to landfill, it will be identical to a standard paper cup, nothing breaks down in a land fill site, they are designed that way.

I live in a district with a composting service, so it goes in my compost and from there, out to those sites. I’m confused by your question.
