Experience the thrill of pantry moth eradication!

The best way to protect your food is really to deny them access to it. Especially all dry food, such as pasta, rice, flour, sugar, cereals and even dry spices. We try to keep as much of that stuff in moth-proof containers: glass or plastic jars, plastic boxes with tightly-fitting lids, that kind of thing. That really helps as pantry moths can (and will) gnaw through pasta bags easily.
I hear the best way to eradicate them is by deploying parasitic wasps (which, despite their menacing name, are tiny and totally harmless to humans), but we never had to resort to that. Locking them out of our food supplies has always been enough to get rid of them.
