FBI: Russia hacked DNC. US officials: Electing Trump, crushing Clinton was Putin's goal

Ah, intentionally ignorant and driving trollies. Got it. Thanks.

Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised by accidental aid rendered by Snowden, he seems a little myopic. And weirdly naive on certain subjects.

More over I think the deal with Snowden is that if he was a spy/traiter whatever your gonna call it we wouldn’t have heard his name so readily. Given where he was and what he access to he would have had much more success and been much more useful quietly doing his job while funneling things off to his handlers. This was not mere embarrassing detail and PR disasters in the waiting. He had access to actual intelligence information, and apparently to the NSAs working surveillance systems. That’s got a hell of a lot more value to any foreign intelligence operation than a simple campaign of embarrassment and misinformation. Even Snowden’s accusers seem to buy that he outed himself and worked through the press (non-Russian press) pretty much immediately after he actually did anything. What may have happened afterwards I have no clue, but it doesn’t seem to make much sense to say the guy was a foreign intelligence asset from the start. As such it makes the US response pretty stupid, the best way to neutralize the value that guy might have for other nations going forward is probably to pardon him and get him back here. Rather than drive him to hide with the people you’re worried he might be spying for.

maybe the answer you seek is here?

CBC has an article about why Russia would meddle in a US election. It has this explainer:

He said investigators are able to determine this, in part, by the kind of malware used. For example, authorities concluded North Korea hacked into Sony Pictures in late 2014 because the same malware was used against South Korean companies.

Is anyone here able to explain well why people think it was the Russians and why it isn’t the same reason to think North Korea was behind the Sony leak? Because I think the idea that North Korea was behind the Sony leak seems laughable. The FBI isn’t exactly famous for credible forensic methods. Or, I guess I should say it is, but it’s out-of-this-world that it is considering how many times we’ve learned that they use forensic methods they know don’t work.

Two questions:

  1. Is your intent in saying this stuff to try to convince anyone who doesn’t already agree with you?
  2. Why should anyone consider you the least bit more credible than the “mockingbird media” as you call it?

I would sign a change.gov petition to leave NATO to prevent the naked selfies of any of the candidates from being published.

Just sayin’

The legal standards for regulating speech are incredibly high, and there are many things that are legal but unconscionable. Milo was egging on white supremacists to attack a black woman who then received massive amounts of racist, misogynist abuse along with threats. Then he went further and posted faked tweets attributed to her putting homophobic and anti-Semitic words in her mouth to fan the flames. While the legal standards are high, an online platform’s tolerance for abuse should be much more strict. I’m very glad the BBS is happy to punt abusive users fast and hard. That’s why I’m here.

I actually think the lax moderation on Twitter that promotes abuse predominantly targeting women and minorities is a serious problem and is incredibly irresponsible. It takes away their freedom of speech by denying them their voice unless they’re willing to face a barrage of death threats, bomb threats, SWATing, harassment, and the rest of the abuse that Milo’s goons dole out at their feminist/Jewish/black/“SJW” enemies. “Freedom of speech” is a fig leaf for denying many a voice.

I would hope we all knew what mockingbird media meant-try looking it up as project mockingbird then I hope it might be more clear to you what I mean when I say this-All our media comes from 6 corrupt corps and they are owned by our collective oppressors from there it is being manipulated by the cia thru the rand corp. The rand corp is a military industrial complex think tank that works in collusion with sony and the likes to brainwash and mind control the masses.good luck everyone and I hope you all are having the fun!

It was very obvious what you meant.

What you wrote doesn’t answer either of the two questions I asked you. Please try again:

  1. Are you trying to convince anyone who doesn’t already agree with you of anything?
  2. Why should anyone consider you a more credible source of information than the media?

Yeah, who needs actual facts or investigations? Let’s go with invented conspiracy theories. Facts are for the “mockingbird media”, right? Everyone knows facts are fake. Gut feelings of fear – that’s the real news.

not trying to convince you of anything
good luck and have fun!

So, by voting for Johnson, you’re actually voting against Hilary, which is akin to voting for Trump. The USA is a FPTP system, it can only handle two parties, so a vote for a third party is as bad, if not worse, than not voting at all.

Seems like some very uncritical reporting that is more Hillary agitprop and DNC misdirection than national security issue. So much easier to BLAME PUTIN! than take the heat for sabotaging Bernie Sanders.

How about some critical thinking?

That’s from over a month ago, there’s more evidence now. For example, it now looks like Guccifer 2.0 isn’t a lone black-hat hacker but instead a group of Russians pretending to be one.

It’s like Reddit all over again, minus the convenient female target for 4chan-level sexism. I don’t know who’s steering Twitter right now, but they need to kick the worst of the lot off the bus. Let 'em piss and moan about their First Amendment rights; it’ll reveal how little they know about them.
