Well, DUH.
Since the rise of the Reaganoids (© - ), monopolies have been tacitly encouraged, since they rake in big bucks for the Filthy Rich and grow the First Church of Capitalism and the Second Church of Hypocrisy. You know, the ones that prop up the Christian nationalist religion and that evades paying taxes.
Which is a good thing, but it would be even better to say “that’s why we don’t allow monopolies”.
As one of the largest Duneheads in the world, I would pay cash money for that mug.
