If trump decides to debate with the Dem candidate, which I doubt, having a climate debate then, with him, would clearly show that he intends to destroy the planet for profit.

And Kamala Harris went way out of her way not to say anything substantial about climate. She did use her climate question to give a distracting impassioned speech about other important issues though.

first record-break was 44.2 °C around marseille, breaking the old record from 2003 by 0.1 °C (44.1)
then, roughly 2 hours later and a few kilometers away, it hit 45.1
finaly, it hit the alltime high, just 0.1 less than a staggering 46 °C! 45.9 °C thats 1.8 °C higher than the previous record from 2003. this really scares the shit outta me!

It’s here too. What I am not sure folks appreciate is how close we are coming to the “humans cannot live here” heat levels. Add in the humidity common to most of these places and we just cannot shed body heat anymore.
ETA: 35C, wet bulb temp seems to e the threshold.

We’ve been mid 90s all week. We don’t start getting hot until August. Records falling everywhere, but hey, sometimes it snows in winter, so obviously, no prob, right?

Yep, Minneapolis was not fun to be outside this weekend. All I can say is that the climate deniers are gonna just keep calling it fake news until their own children die of heat stroke or floods. Even then I think they’ll just deny it to spite those they hate. I think Umberto Eco called fascism in this respect a death cult IIRC.
