I kinda figured that was coming. Begun, the climate wars have.

On the subject of stupid bullshit like the straw ban… why is nobody taking Taco Bell to task for replacing all of their paper soda cups with thick-walled plastic ones that use far more plastic than the straws that go into them? Every fast food chain seems to use plastic for the 32+ oz sizes, but Taco Bell has started using see-through plastic for every single size. I’d say “for no reason,” but I’m sure it’s because the plastic cups are now, like, 0.001 cents cheaper to produce or source because of sustainable tree farming efforts, so ruining the planet it is.

Fuck capitalism.

drone and chopper flight over the east of grand bahama from yesterday.

unbelivable. the force of dorian was strong enough to rip off the bark from a lot of trees. and no branches at all. thats something only known from tornados. wont be the last time.

Hmm, just pondering what Trump could possibly use to distract from Friday’s climate action and Monday’s UN climate summit …

Anyway, this might be useful to somebody for Friday.

“Burner bikes”

Makes obvious sense, and maybe the term isn’t new but it’s new to me.
