I can’t wait for the inevitable dashcam video of the explosion taken from a truck ten feet away.

BOOM

mild sigh

sound of door opening

[Russian muttering]

Remote? Not by Siberian standards.

Increased laundry bills as a mushroom cloud appears.

The incident comes after wildfires engulfed thousands of hectares of forest in Siberia. The fires, which have been raging for two days, have been described by environmentalists as an “ecological catastrope.” Russia sent military planes to help firefighters battling the fires engulfing more than 3.1 million hectares, an area roughly the size of Belgium

I read a few hours ago that the wildfires had nothing to do with it? anyway;

At the beginning of the video below there seems to be the sound of a projectile whizzzing by the camera. Damn. It’s amazing that not more people are being hurt or killed.

I asume this is the original upload of the first video (its not listed, via siberian times)?

No fatalities, they’re saying, just some shrapnel wounds

@beschizza according to the siberian times there was at least one dead:

Damn - they must have had some really big things stored in there.

I think we are just seeing the blast wave in the smoke/clouds…

The effect is most commonly associated with a nuclear explosion, but any sufficiently energetic detonation or deflagration will produce the same effect.

Wildfires? Right. We all know it was because the demogorgons escaped.
