It would have been my Grandad’s birthday today.
I’m kind of glad he’s already dead, as the shock of Orange Hitler winning in the US would have probably given him another heart attack. He was in the Royal Marines in WW2, not because he wanted to fight but because he felt he had to.

My grandfather was in the Royal Navy in WWII, he enlisted because he felt he had to too. He was the ships barber on his air craft carrier.
