I like the plane crash analogy. In 2019 there were 20 deadly plane crashes. And the estimated number of flight in 2019 was 38 millions. So fly by plane is safe and the chance is quite low. This is like the regular flu that is slow to move so the dangerous case are distributed in time and space. Imagine that for some reason all the plane crashes will happen tomorrow from the planes landing or taking off in Los Angeles that is 1800 by day. One plane in 90 will crash. Same accident it’s less than 1% of Chance that a plane will crash. But if you have a ticket to go to LAX you are going there or you will stay at home?
(hope anyway that un California are doing the smart thing and have the airport closed for passenger traffic.)

I don’t know who originated the sentiment, but it’s true now more than ever - Fox News did to our parents what they thought video games would do to us. And now it may start killing them.

For a start, I would love any politician or pundit who denied the gravity of this situation to be forced to wear the Jaws Mayor’s sports jacket any time he or she appeared on video for the rest of their lives. Just so everyone knows we’re dealing with a short-sighted and bumbling clown who values money and power over lives.
I’ve noted before that one of the things I personally resent about Fox News is that it was the main TV fare my father watched when he was sick and dying. Ailes and his crew of scumbags added needless stress and unpleasantness to his already terrible final year of life.

Do Fox Hosts actually believe what they’re saying? Look how many former shock jocks have come out and said “Its entertainment.” Or " it’s just a character I play."
is it just me or have they been slowly remaking Trish Regan to be Trump’s type? Change her hair color, make her cheek bones look more prominent, possibly force her to lose weight, make her do that smokin’ supermodel type of glare. It looks like used to look far more down to earth before.
