Not sure how I missed this originally. But a few thoughts:

  1. The OP never quite “got” that the two cases aren’t similar
  2. The OP moved goalposts a bunch
  3. The OP was “shown the door” by the community. Ironically, he was shown the door not because the community disagreed with his thesis - that debate occurred in good faith - but rather because his debate style was to accuse others of trolling.
