I’m gonna guess it’s a combination of hacked NES ROMs and slight variants of different titles.

These are shameful and borderline illegal products. If you really want these you can get them directly from China for far cheaper.

I agree 100% here, these consoles are available for MUCH less elsewhere, the marked up price BoingBoing is presenting them for is ludicrous.
