Garden is rapidly running out of stuff to harvest, but today i brought in my experimental crosnes harvest.

Color doesn’t come across, they are ivory white. AKA Chinese artichokes or petrified silkworms, they are tubers that grow on a member of the mint family. Mostly grown for the weird appearance, i think. Taste like water chestnuts, basically crunchy nothing. Got a pint pickling currently, and a few leftover to play with.

My final gardening post. I dug up these peppers a few weeks ago, repotted them and brought them inside for the winter.

Look! A habanero, some jalapeños, and some banana peppers!

Working on a calendar to better manage my planting and pruning timing. Currently in Google Sheets, but I think I’ll transfer it over to an excel sheet - The same but slightly better template is available in excel too.
