I wonder if it’s as good as NordVPN lifetime subscription for $45.
It’s sold out according to the link. I guess it really was too good to be true.
I’m pretty sure domains don’t require “room”, but I’ll never need an insane number of domains, so what do I know?
- lifetime applied to that of the Common Diptera,
Do you know how much “desk space” you need?
I know it’ll be good enough when BB moves their operation over. Maybe if they took advantage and got lifetime hosting for $45 we could dump these crap ads…
Just to note I bought an earlier lifetime subscription deal for Arch Hosting, which folded just this month. Overall I overpaid a little for two years of service, and had to find a new host on short notice.
yeah, with all those lifetime deals, one wonders what the actual lifetime will be. My lifetime, their lifetime, the lifetime of the product until they choose to discontinue it, the lifetime of that fruit fly over there?
I find these deals are nice when I want to figure out if a type of product is helpful for me, but I’m not prepared to pay the full price. I might be persuaded if
- I will use it right now
- setup and migration cost is negligible
- there’s no content lock-in
They died, already?
Yep, ditto here. I had “lifetime” service through Archhosting, only to find out a month ago that “lifetime” meant “the lifetime of our business model” which was two years.
And I bought it via StackSocial, which I’m pretty sure is the same place that’s selling this deal.
Best of luck to the people who bought in
