Good news: Facebook usership declined in the US and Canada for the first time ever

Twitter is still useful for signing into other sites. Other than that, I can’t think of any other use for the thing.

“Usership” is such terrible corporate-speak. One can just as easily express the same thing with “use” or “users”, e.g. “Facebook’s use declined in the US & Canada for the first time ever” or “Facebook users in the US & Canada: fewer today than yesterday!”

I can just imagine the business bro who first coined “usership” saying to himself “I need to talk about how many users we have, but in such a way that I sound smarter than I am”, then building a PowerPoint around the word, and ultimately getting a big, fat, undeserved bonus check.
