That’s a surprise, but I suppose by now it shouldn’t be. She really set the tone for a lot of posts I read on boing boing years ago, And, like Cory, was a vital part of boing boing’s ethos - from my perspective, at least.
I wish there was nothing going on that people involved felt a need for secrecy for.

Well, Tulsi is an agent, though not for Russia; the Jagad Guru owes no fealty to Putin. Xeni’s attacks on AOC seem to be related to things the latter said about the insurrection.

The gist seems to be “I’ve been through much worse than AOC”… which I have no reason to doubt, given what Xeni has shared about her past. Darned if I can figure out why she’s so angry at AOC in particular though. Think I’ll sit this feud out and wish both women well.

I found Boing Boing who knows how many years ago. I joined to comment goodness knows when (now I have a title??). But Xeni and others helped me to learn and gave me a new insight to things.
I’m still learning and growing as it concerns certain topics & so forth, but I wish her well. BB is one of my online homes.

@xeni is a thoughtful person, of good character, whom I have always respected. I have no reason to believe that she doesn’t continue to be a thoughtful person of good character. Two such people can reasonably disagree on some matters, in fact that is a hallmark of thoughtfulness.
She has made it clear that she doesn’t want to have further discussion of why she has left BB, and I think we should respect that.

Agreed. I will withdraw to the main BB page and not further comment on Xeni or her situation; as I don’t use Twitter, I will not follow her on any social platform.
Any future comments I make will be within the scope of articles posted on the main page.
Dammit, was really happy for Xeni that she was back on the derpy animal beat now that Trump’s bullshit is taking up less space. Hope someone else picks up the slack.
