Google patents an adhesive that sticks pedestrians to cars that hit them

Seems sort of interesting, but why not work on SecureFoam?

They already have their first customer lined upā€¦

US Patent 9,340,178

The patent system is getting filled with monkeys hitting keys on typewriters. Sort of like the URL namespace grab a while back. Everyone hoping for a greater sucker to actually pay and do something with it.

Whatā€™s one more sensor?!

Developing a pedestrian-adherence sensor sounds like the best part of making a self-driving car.

How would the pedestrianā€™s choice of apparel affect the outcome? Iā€™d imagine that a jacket or a big, loose, floppy sweater could leave the victim dangling and dragging partially under the car.

They should use surgical glue. Kill two birds with one stone. Save time.
