The patent system is getting filled with monkeys hitting keys on typewriters. Sort of like the URL namespace grab a while back. Everyone hoping for a greater sucker to actually pay and do something with it.

What’s one more sensor?!

Developing a pedestrian-adherence sensor sounds like the best part of making a self-driving car.

How would the pedestrian’s choice of apparel affect the outcome? I’d imagine that a jacket or a big, loose, floppy sweater could leave the victim dangling and dragging partially under the car.
