Similar illustrations were used in the title sequence of Takeshi Kitano’s Hana Bi iirc, I haven’t watched it in a long time. One of my all time favourite films.

These cards inspired a dynamite cooperative card game - Hanabi. You have to assemble the best fireworks display with your fellow players, but you can only see everyone else’s cards, not your own. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanabi_(card_game)

Although the explodomancer needs to be quick to give his/her foremost clients the best reading, and only works at night, to get the most accurate forecasts.
