I love their books, I HATE their bindings. They tend to have very brittle bindings that break and the pages fall out. That has been true for as long as I have bought their books. (I keep hoping that will change. So far it has not.)
And it is not just me. The display books that they have in the rare book room as Powell’s have the same problem.
