My question is why would anyone do this? What’s the point? Isn’t one of the purposes of WHO to disseminate information, so it’s going to be pretty transparent anyway?
Is this some rogue government trying to get a leg-up on the information coming out of WHO? Or some attempt at seeding disinformation?

Ransom money. They want to hold the WHO hostage and make big bucks. Just like any other hacker who hacks into hospitals.
My response to them would be to drone strike their vomit sack bodies to oblivion.

Depends on who they are. A lot of the hackers have state backing, in that case a Tomahawk would be more appropriate.
