If any politician takes power and successfully rolls back the copyright laws to that of the pre-Disney-fuckery days, and reestablishes strong anti-monopoly laws, that will be when I have some of my faith restored in the government. Until then, wheeee. 1924.

The image includes J. W. Barrie’s Peter Pan. It’s not copyright anywhere else in the world but the USA, which has these bizarre copyright excesses. According to The Great Ormond Street Hospital, which used to own the copyright, it remains in copyright (in the USA only) until 2023. Are they mistaken? Perhaps some kind soul should tell them.
