I suspect this to be a variation on the accidental post game (which is concerned with the very recent past, say the same day or same week). In this variation, a BB blogger will deliberately post something previously posted some time ago, and points are awarded/deducted according to how long it takes for them to be called out on it

Personally, I find the sound of cowbells very soothing. I have a regular stopover in a little hotel in rural Austria. There’s a pasture next to it, except in the winter there are always a couple of cows there day and night. It’s nice to lie in bed with the window open and drift off to sleep with that background sound.
Also, that one song by Psychic TV, I forget the name. The liner notes advise watching ads on TV with the sound muted while listening to it.
Do not put cowbells on cats, though.
