I’ve been to this shop, years ago. I’m a casual collector and own a couple dozen “artisan” kaleidoscopes which I display in my home, including one I bought in Jerome.
I don’t know if it’s still the case, however, if you are an enthusiast, not a tourist, they had another room in the back with “the good stuff.” If you demonstrate the right level of interest in collectible kaleidoscopes, you may be invited into the back room. You cannot just walk in on your own.
