I refuse to except FaceTime calls, ever, not even from Dear Wife.

You’re welcome

Google Hangouts. Still platform independent, still no time limits. It’s not fancypants, but it’s how we’ve had game night with a dozen friends every week for 1.5 years.

Really? When I go to Hangouts, it has no option to have video chat there. There’s just a button to make a Google Meet call, which does have a time limit.

Not really important now, as we’ve moved to Discord.

Hangouts is going away/has gone away with Google Meet as the replacement. You get 24 hours on Meet if you’re just in a two person call. 60 minutes if it’s 3 - 100 participants, but Google Workspace users get more. I haven’t run into a limit at my work for using Google Meet.

Obligatory:

Yeah, I would stick with discord or telegram.
