Well, if you’re going to lead with “I can’t do anything because of the corporation that I’m forced to own, woe is me”, it is a fairly predictable response.
Whether you like it or not, you and a lot of others here are relatively privileged compared to the American norm. That privilege grants an increase in political power; you appeared to be suggesting the opposite.
But that power only comes if you choose to spend it in that direction, instead of investing it more directly on (reasonable, understandable, normal, human) professional and personal desires (such as “devote extra time to do my job as well as I can” and “make sure my kids get the best possible education” etc). Having the ability to make that choice is itself an unusual luxury.
