An imperfect universe? What a dreadful notion. The universe is exactly as it should be in this moment, as it really could not be any other way. We may have struggles with the universe, but those struggles are our imperfection, our lack of acceptance of how things are and not a failing of the universe.
I would suggest that the difference between utopia and dystopia is how well a society accepts the universe as it is. That clear eyed and rigorous honesty is the real trick…
