Something similar happened to me–implication of using a pseudonym and my Red-Tailed Tropicbird avatar. FB wanted some proof of ID, photo, whatever… Given that I value my anonymity in social media more than social media, I sent them my avatar picture, gave them the Bird.

My account was deleted.

Problem solved.
