I think I may have found out about it on here originally, but I want to put in that Doctor Popular’s other recent game, KnifeTank, is an absolute blast. My 11-year-old daughter loves playing it with me, which is pretty high praise.

I didn’t have a chance to play it, but a friend once dug up a game called “SMESS: The Ninny’s Chess” from the 60s, which was a truncated and simplified sort of chess with pieces that I seem to recall had a tinge of the half-assed loser school of greeting card art in the design.
