I don’t have any 4K titles in my library.
That’s kind of what I assumed until I read the headline. Then I thought wait is there more to it? reading the article seems to imply yes there is yet doesn’t deliver =(
select h.256 from the codec dropdown.
i play h.256 all the time, but i can confirm the 4k never make it more then a few frames on my macs.

Away from my iMac so testing on what I have with me: 2016 MBP (i7 3.3Ghz 2 core, Intel Iris 550) using VLC. Not an apples to apples comparison of course.
Tried the two Panasonic 265 4K demos, both were janky to the point of unwatchable.
The Panasonic 264 4K played fine though.

Yeah, that’s the site I was thinking of…
“Camp” looks amazing in 4K on youtube but the h.265 file is virtually unplayable.
