Did all people have these eyes or only those with psychic powers or cursed by the fairy queen? As far as I know, this was quite common back in the day and documented in books.

True - people will see faces in clouds. But you need AI to turn blurry images of Black people into clear pictures of white people, for instance…

I tried it on some old pictures of my mother (circa 1950). The result was uncannily sharp, but that was NOT my mother.

I’ve been having a whale of a time enhancing old B&W pics. This is not a universal cure but mostly it sharpens focus and pulls out definition that was not previously visible.
I’ve also been using img2go.com to colourise the photos to generally excellent effect. I don’t know where that program gets its colour cues but the difference is often like chalk and cheese.
