Today in Vanha kirkkopuisto (Old Church Park) AKA Ruttopuisto (Plague Park), Helsinki, Finland.
its very green looking in Finland, that old axis planet tilt paying dirt eh? Nice stuff.
Some places in Lappland still have about 65cm of snow.

Hey, a bundle(?) (cord? fistful?) of rails! They don’t look so light to me, though.
Hopefully they’ll actually get used, though. I can imagine them just leaving these here (and streets blocked/torn up, etc.) indefinitely.

GACHA is the World’s first self-driving shuttle bus for all weather conditions. Developed by Sensible 4 and designed in cooperation with MUJI, GACHA was made for everyday use for people around the world.
Congratulations on turning 50, young man!
Thanks! But I’m not actually 50, yet
Ah, so it doesn’t use those rails? I thought maybe it was lopsided.
Someone here will know what kind of tree this is… I thought maybe it was a dogwood, but those have rounded flower petals and these are pointed. From a distance, the flower almost forms a square.
Cornus Kousa Dogwood.
That’s it – I wondered if it was introduced, since I often see it in people’s yards. But the first place I’d seen one was in undeveloped parkland, near a stream bank – it’s possible, though I’d think unlikely, someone planted it there. (As introduced trees, do they reproduce as readily as, say, catalpa?)
